AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with J. S. Alberici
Construction Co. Inc., for the construction of Lemay Sewage
Treatment Plant Improvements, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to J. S. Alberici Construction Co. Inc., as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of the Lemay
Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements for the Mississippi River
Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 23rd day of July, 1969 and
formally executed on the 31st day of July, 1969, by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This ordinance being for the confirmation of a
contract for treatment plant improvements and the improvements to
be constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and
this ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 31, 1969
