AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 1894, as adopted
May 15, 1969, by repealing Section Two thereof and enacting a new
Section Two relating to the same subject, the salary of the
Technical Training Instructor, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 1894, as adopted May 15,
1969, is hereby amended by repealing Section Two thereof and
enacting a new Section Two thereof to read as follows:
Section Two. The salary of the Technical Training
Instructor shall be at the rate of $10,080.00
per annum, effective August 1, 1969.
Section Two. Because of the immediate need to retain a
qualified instructor of personnel to operate District sewage
treatment plants, this ordinance is deemed necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and is hereby declared
to be an emergency ordinance within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 15, 1969
