AN ORDINANCE, vacating a portion of sewer easement,
including the portion of sewer therein, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, Missouri, by Ordinance
No. 37,586 vacated the east-west alley in City Block 706, bounded
by Carroll Street, Kosciusko Street, Lafayette Avenue, (formerly
Soulard Street) and Second Street reserving, however, an easement
for sewer purposes therein; and
WHEREAS, the owner of such property has requested this
District to abandon its easement in such east-west alley,
including the portion of sewer lying therein, which portion of
sewer and easement are no longer needed by the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That sewer easement reserved by the City
of St. Louis by Ordinance No. 37,586 over the area of the former
east-west alley in City Block 706, together with the portion of
sewer lying therein, is hereby vacated.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 11, 1969
