HomeMy Public PortalAbout01969REPEALED BY ORDINANCE NO. 2078 - 8/26/70 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1969 AN ORDINANCE, prescribing a compensation plan for all employees in the classified service, re-enacting Section Three and Section Three-A of Ordinance No. 1804 repealed concurrently with enactment hereof, effective December 1, 1969. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Effective December 1, 1969 concurrently with the repeal of Ordinance No. 1804, and as a re-enactment of the compensation plan prescribed in Section Three and Section Three-A thereof, the following pay schedule for all classification grades of all positions in the classified service of the District is hereby adopted and prescribed, to wit: (SEE ATTACHED) SCHEDULE A: Applicable to all classes except those in the Labor & Trades Group below Grade 17. Section Two. Compensation for assignment for shift work. An employee who is regularly assigned to work on a shift basis shall be paid as follows: (1) employees on the second shift shall receive premium pay at a rate of one step above the normal rate for time worked on the second shift; (2) employees on the third shift shall receive premium pay at a rate of two full steps above the normal rate for time worked on the third shift. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 12, 1969.
