AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 782, as adopted
June 25, 1962, by repealing Section Two thereof, relating to
charges to be collected from each parcel of land served by the
sewage pumping, treatment, and disposal works of Subdistrict No.
150 (Sugar Creek) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
and enacting in lieu thereof a new Section Two relating to the
same subject, effective January 1, 1970.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Section Two of Ordinance No. 782, as
adopted June 25, 1962, is hereby amended by repealing Section Two
thereof and by enacting a new section to be known as Section Two
of Ordinance No. 782 and to read as follows:
Section Two. For the purposes provided in Section
One hereof, there is hereby charged (a) to
each lot or parcel of land having located
thereon a single-family residence a charge of
$11.00 per each six months, (b) to each lot
or parcel of land having located thereon a
multi-family dwelling a charge of $7.30 per
each six months per dwelling unit, and (c) to
each lot or parcel of land having located
thereon industrial commercial establishments,
the following charges based upon water
consumption:
Water Consumption Sewer Charge Previous Six Months Each Six Months First 44 Ccf $11.00 (minimum charge) Next 206 Ccf 0.24 per Ccf Next 750 Ccf 0.22 per Ccf Next 2,750 Ccf 0.20 per Ccf Next 41,250 Ccf 0.18 per Ccf Next 45,000 Ccf 0.16 per Ccf
The above charges shall apply to any lot or parcel of land or
premises having an active sewer connection with the sewage
pumping, treatment, and disposal works of Subdistrict No.
150 (Sugar Creek), or otherwise discharging sewage,
industrial wastes, water or other liquids, either directly
or indirectly into said sewage pumping, treatment, and
disposal works or which ultimately enters said sewage
works.
Section Two. This ordinance shall take effect
January 1, 1970.
