AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Christian
Contracting, Inc., for yard work construction at the Bissell Point
Sewage Treatment Plant Site, East Grand and Hall Street, St.
Louis, Missouri, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Christian Contracting, Inc., as the lowest
responsible bidder, for yardwork construction at the Bissell Point
Sewage Treatment Plant Site of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 26th day of
November, 1969 and formally executed on the 10th day of December,
1969, by said contractor and by the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following
form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for construction of sewage treatment plant site
yardwork necessary for the protection of the public health, an
emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and this
ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 11, 1969
