AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Fred M. Luth &
Sons, Inc., for the construction of sanitary sewers at Kingsland &
St. Louis Belt and Terminal Railroad Sanitary Extension, in the
City of Pagedale, Missouri, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary sewers at
Kingsland & St. Louis Belt and Terminal Railroad sanitary
Extension in the City of Pagedale, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 13th day of January, 1970, and formally
executed on the 21st day of January, 1970, by said contractor and
by the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and
this ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 22, 1970
