AN ORDINANCE, confirming a contract with Kozeny-Wagner,
Inc., for correcting and restoring of slopes to correct slides in
River Des Peres at 8901 South Broadway and at Morganford Road at
Carondelet Boulevard in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Kozeny-Wagner, Inc., as the lowest
responsible bidder, for correcting and restoring of slopes to
correct slides in River Des Peres at 8901 South Broadway and at
Morganford Road at Carondelet Boulevard in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, for The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 21st day of January, 1970 and
formally executed on the 4th day of February, 1970 by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for correcting and restoring of slopes to correct
slides in River Des Peres being necessary for the protection of
the public health, an emergency exists within the meaning of the
Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 4, 1970.
