AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer or
drainage facilities of the District, the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict; and
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
owners of the land in said area who own all of the land area
therein praying for annexation to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, the Mississippi River Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek
Trunk Subdistrict; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, the Mississippi River Subdistrict and the Gravois
Creek Trunk Subdistrict, and can drain all of its sanitary sewage
into existing sewers within the District and such Subdistricts,
that the interests of sanitation and public health of the District
will be promoted by including the area in its territory; and that
the sewage flow from the area proposed to be annexed has no
available outlet through public sanitary sewers other than those
of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection
of the centerlines of Geyer Road, 40 feet wide, and United States
Highway No. 66, said point of intersection being a point on the
existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District;
thence South along the centerline of Geyer Road to its
intersection with the East and West centerline of Section 14,
Township 44 North, Range 5 East; thence West along said centerline
773.34 feet to a point; thence North 13Ε40' West, approximately
300 feet to a point on the centerline of United States Highway No.
66; thence East along the centerline of said Highway to the point
of beginning.
Section Two. That the said petition praying for
annexation was signed by the owners of the land in said area who
own all of the land area of the area to be served.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.
Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and of the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict are hereby
extended so as to include the above described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the

Secretary of State.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 19, 1970.
