HomeMy Public PortalAbout02023 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2023 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 335 (East Sherwood Drive) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 335 (East Sherwood Drive). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 335 (East Sherwood Drive) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 EAST SHERWOOD DRIVE Beginning in the centerline of Lackland Road at its intersection with the northern prolongation of the west line of Lot 10 of LAKE SHERWOOD, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 45, Page 3, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence eastwardly along said street centerline to its intersection with the centerline of the former Midland Street Railway Company Right-of-Way, 30 feet wide, (now abandoned); thence southeastwardly along said last described centerline to the western line of property conveyed to Clarence H. Howard, Jr. by deed recorded in Book 1824, Page 181, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence northwardly along said western line to the northwest corner of said Howard property; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Howard property to its northeast corner, being also the northeast corner of said LAKE SHERWOOD; thence southwardly along the east line of said LAKE SHERWOOD to the southeast corner of Lot 2 thereof; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot 2, and its western prolongation, to the centerline of East Sherwood Drive; thence southwardly along the centerline of East Sherwood Drive to the south line of said LAKE SHERWOOD; thence westwardly along the south line of said subdivision to the southwest corner of Lot 6 thereof; thence northwardly along the west lines of Lots 6 thru 10, inclusive, of said subdivision, and the northern prolongation of the west line of said Lot 10, to the beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 23, 1970.
