AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No.
1864, adopted April 3, 1969 and revising the boundaries of
Subdistrict No. 268 (Lin-Ferry - Tesson Ferry) of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 1864, adopted April 3,
]969 is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of
Subdistrict No. 268 (Lin-Ferry - Tesson Ferry), as set forth in
Section Two thereof, an area described as follows:
Parcel 1. Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines
of Lindbergh Boulevard and Lin-Ferry Drive; thence
southeastwardly along the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard
to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the
southeast line of property conveyed to August Guehring and
wife, by deed recorded in Book 1902, Page 239, St. Louis
County Recorder's office; thence northeastwardly along said
prolongation and along the southeast line of said Guehring
property to the easternmost corner thereof; thence
northwestwardly along the northeast line of said Guehring
property, and along the northeast line of property conveyed
to August Guehring by deed recorded in Book 2948, Page 319,
said Recorder's office, to the northernmost corner of said
last described Guehring property, being also the easternmost
corner of property conveyed to Otto J. Hamsik, by deed
recorded in Book 3249, Page 521, said Recorder's office;
thence northwestwardly along the northeast line of said
Hamsik property to its intersection with a line parallel with
and 300 feet northeast of, measured at right angles to, the
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence northwestwardly
along said parallel line to the eastern line of property
conveyed to Concord Investment Company by deed recorded in
Book 6220, Page 125, said Recorder's office; thence
southwardly along said eastern line to the northeast corner
of property conveyed to David S. Milton, by deed recorded in
Book 5092, Page 220, said Recorder's office; thence
westwardly along the north line of said Milton property, and
its straight westwardly prolongation to the centerline of
Lin-Ferry Drive; and thence southwardly along the centerline
of Lin-Ferry Drive to the beginning.
Parcel 2. Beginning in the centerline of Tesson Ferry Road,
at its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the
southwest line of property conveyed to Christian Science
Society, by deed recorded in Book 4006, Page 272, St. Louis
County Recorder's office, said southwest line being also the
southwest line of Lot 8 of WALCHSHAUSER SUBDIVISION, a
subdivision as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 54,
Page 22, said Recorder's office; thence northeastwardly along
the centerline of Tesson Ferry Road to its intersection with
the southeastern prolongation of the northeast line of said
Lot 8; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and
along the northeast line of said Lot 8 to it intersection

with a line parallel with and 250 feet northwest of, measured
at right angles to, the centerline of Tesson Ferry Road;
thence southwestwardly along said parallel line to the
southwest line of said Lot 8; and thence southeastwardly
along said southwest line, and its southeastern prolongation,
to the beginning.
Parcel 3. Beginning at the easternmost corner of property
conveyed to James Madding and wife, by deed recorded in Book
3487, Page 422, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence
southwestwardly along the southeast line of said Madding
property to its southernmost corner; thence northwestwardly
along the southwest line of said Madding property to its
intersection with a line parallel with and 300 feet southeast
of, measured at right angles to, the centerline of Lavinia
Road; thence northeastwardly along said parallel line to the
northeast line of said Madding property; and thence
southeastwardly along said northeast line to the beginning.
Parcel 4. Beginning in the southwest line of property
conveyed to James Madding and wife, by deed recorded in Book
3487, Page 422, St. Louis County Recorder's office, at the
northernmost corner of WERNER SUBDIVISION, a subdivision as
per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 64, Page 10, said
Recorder's office; thence along the northwest line of said
subdivision, south 41 degrees 01 minutes west, 303.52 feet;
thence, north 57 degrees 44 minutes west, parallel with, and
300.00 feet southwestwardly from (measured along the

southeast line of Lavinia Road) the southwest line of said
Madding property, and its northwestern prolongation, to the
centerline of Lavinia Road; thence northeastwardly along said
centerline to its intersection with the northwestern
prolongation of the southwest line of said Madding property;
and thence southeastwardly along said prolongation, and along
said southwest line, to the beginning.
Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 1864
as hereby amended shall read as follows:
"Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 268
(Lin-Ferry - Tesson Ferry) shall be as follows:

LIN-FERRY-TESSON FERRY
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Tesson Ferry
Road (Highway 21) before relocation, with the centerline of
Lindbergh Boulevard; thence southwestwardly along the centerline
of said Tesson Ferry Road to its intersection with the
northwestern prolongation of the southwest line of property, now
or formerly, owned by Barland, Inc., as recorded in Deed Book
3626, Page 224 of the St. Louis County Records; thence
southeastwardly along said prolongation and along the southwest,
west and southern lines of said Barland, Inc., property to the
west line of OCHS ACRES, a subdivision as per plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book 48, Page 11 of the St. Louis County Records;
thence northwardly along the western line of said OCHS ACRES to
the northwest corner thereof; thence southeastwardly along the
northeast line of said subdivision to the northeast corner
thereof; thence eastwardly along a line parallel with the
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard to the west line of property,
now or formerly, owned by Joseph F. and Marlis E. Thum as recorded
in Deed Book 5260, Page 626 of the St. Louis County Records;
thence northwardly along the west line of said Thum property and
along the northern prolongation of said west line to the
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence southeastwardly along
the centerline of said Lindbergh Boulevard to its intersection
with the southwardly prolongation of the centerline of Lin-Ferry
Drive; thence northwardly along said southwardly prolongation and

along the centerline of Lin-Ferry Drive to the northeastwardly
prolongation of the southeastern line of property, now or formerly
owned by Jess & Eva L. Watts, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book
5269, Page 519 of the St. Louis County Records; thence
southwestwardly, northwestwardly and northeastwardly along said
northeastwardly prolongation and said southeastern line, and along
the southwestern line and along the northwestern line and its
northeastwardly prolongation, respectively, of said Watts
property, to the centerline of Lin-Ferry Drive; thence
northwestwardly along the centerline of Lin-Ferry Drive to the
centerline of Tesson Ferry Road, as relocated; thence
northeastwardly along the centerline of said relocated Tesson
Ferry Road to its intersection with the northwestern prolongation
of the southwest line of property, now or formerly, owned by
Louise Masel, et al., as recorded in Deed Book 4501, Page 551 of
the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along said
prolongation and along the southwest line of said Masel property
to its intersection with a line parallel with and 250 feet
southeast of the centerline of said Tesson Ferry Road as
relocated; thence northeastwardly along said parallel line to the
southwest line of Lot 3 in SUNSET VIEW, a subdivision as per plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 58, Page 37 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of Lots
3, 2 and 1 in said SUNSET VIEW, and along the northwestern
prolongation of said southwest line to the centerline of Tesson
Ferry Road, as relocated; thence northeastwardly along the

centerline of said Tesson Ferry Road to its intersection with the
southeastern prolongation of the southwest line of property, now
or formerly, owned by Christian Science Society as recorded in
Deed Book 4006, Page 272 of the St. Louis County Records, said
southwest line is also the southwest line of Lot 8 in WALCHSHAUSER
SUBD., a subdivision as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 54,
Page 22, said Recorder's office; thence north 31 degrees 35
minutes west along said prolongation and along the southwest line
of said Lot 8, a total distance of 169.18 feet to an angle point
in said southwest line of Lot 8; thence along the northern line of
property conveyed to Frank T. Huttig and wife, by deed recorded in
Book 2944, Page 347, said Recorder's office, south 54 degrees 13
minutes west, 84.28 feet and north 73 degrees 22 minutes west,
84.71 feet to the easternmost corner of Lot 6 in said WALCHSHAUSER
SUBD.; thence south 28 degrees 26 minutes west, 60 feet along a
southeast line of said Lot 6 to the southernmost corner of said
Lot 6; thence southwestwardly across Walchshauser Drive to the
easternmost corner of Lot 1 in said WALCHSHAUSER SUBD.; thence
southwestwardly along the southeast line of Lots 1 and 2 in said
subdivision to the southernmost corner of said Lot 2; thence
northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 2 to the
westernmost corner thereof; thence southwestwardly along the
southwestern prolongation of the northwest line of said
WALCHSHAUSER SUBD. to the easternmost corner of WERNER SUBD., a
subdivision as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 64, Page 10,
St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence north 57 degrees 44

minutes west, 224.91 feet along the northeast line of said WERNER
SUBD. to the northernmost corner thereof; thence along the
northwest line of said subdivision, south 41 degrees 01 minutes
west, 303.52 feet; thence north 57 degrees 44 minutes west,
parallel with, and 300.00 feet southwestwardly from (measured
along the southeast line of Lavinia Road; the southwest line of
property conveyed to James C. Madding and wife, by deed recorded
in Book 3487, Page 422, St. Louis County Recorder's office, to the
centerline of Lavinia Road; thence southwestwardly, southwardly
and southeastwardly along the centerline of said Lavinia Road to
the centerline of Tesson Ferry Road before relocation; thence
southwestwardly along the centerline of Tesson Ferry Road before
relocation, across Lindbergh Boulevard, to the point of
beginning."
Section Three. The Board finds that it is necessary for
protection of the public health to begin at once the procedure to
construct sewage facilities in the foregoing area. Accordingly,
an emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan and this
Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
