AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Drainage
Construction Corp., for the Reconstruction of Combination Sewers
at Norwood Square (Cave-Ins) S-621, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Drainage Construction Corp., as the lowest
responsible bidder for the Reconstruction of Combination Sewers at
Norwood Square (Cave-Ins) S-621 of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 16th
day of December, 1970, and formally executed on the 4th day of
January, 1971, by said contractor and by the Executive Director
and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the
following form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for the reconstruction of combination
sewers and the sewers to be reconstructed being necessary for the
protection of the public health, an emergency exists within the
meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become
effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 6, 1971.
