AN ORDINANCE, vacating sewer easements in the City of
St. Louis, Missouri,
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, Missouri, by Ordinance
No. 55342 vacated a portion of Guthrie Street, and by Ordinance
55343 vacated a portion of the north-south alley in City Block
1774, and by Ordinance 55344 vacated a portion of the north-south
alley in City Block 1766, and
WHEREAS, by said Ordinances the City of St. Louis
reserved easements for sewer purposes over said portion of Guthrie
Street and over said portion of the north-south alleys and The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is successor in title to
said easements, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has
requested the District to vacate such easement strips, and has
furnished the District a satisfactory substitute easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The following described sewer easements
together with the sewers therein are hereby vacated, to wit:
1. That sewer easement reserved to the District by
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, by its Ordinance No. 55342, lying
in former Guthrie Street.
2. That sewer easement reserved to the District by
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, by its Ordinance No. 55343, lying
in the former north-south alley, in City Block 1774.
3. That sewer easement reserved to the District by
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, by its Ordinance No. 55344, lying
in the former north-south alley, in City Block 1766. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 21, 1971.
