AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Gross
Engineering Company for the construction of No. 4 Blower/Engine
installation at the Coldwater Creek Sewage Treatment Plant with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Gross Engineering Company as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of No. 4 Blower/Engine
installation at the Coldwater Creek Sewage Treatment Plant of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 21st day of January, 1971, and formally executed
on the 1st day of February, 1971, by said contractor and by the
Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District, in the following form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for the construction of a sewage
treatment plant facility, and such facility being necessary for
the protection of the public health, constitutes an emergency
within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and
become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 3, 1971.
