AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Harold Casper &
Sons, Inc., for construction of Site Improvements at the former
Affton Treatment Plant in St. Louis County, with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Harold Casper & Sons, Inc., as the lowest
responsible bidder, for construction of Site Improvements at the
former Affton Treatment Plant in St. Louis County of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 26th day of April, 1971 and formally executed on
the 5th day of May, 1971, by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in
the following form:

Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for construction of Site Improvements
necessary in the interest of the public health, an emergency
exists within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be
and become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 6, 1971.
