AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 150, adopted
August 12, 1957, and enacting a new ordinance on the same subject.
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 150 limited the fees to be
charged for connections to public sewers to permit and inspection
fees; and
WHEREAS, other appropriate circumstances exist where
exceptions should be made, allowing the District to recoup monies
advanced to construct a sewer or sewers, to be repaid by
recoupment of such sums by those properties served thereby, at
such times as they are connected thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 150, adopted August 12,
1957, is hereby repealed.
Section Two. The District shall charge or assess no
fee for connection of house, commercial or industrial sewers to
public sewers, other than the permit and inspection fees now or
hereafter prescribed by the District, or the recoupment of monies
advanced by the District to construct a sewer or sewers, to be
repaid by recoupment of such sums by those properties served
thereby, at such times as they are connected thereto, all as set
forth specifically in each case by ordinance.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 30, 1971.
