AN ORDINANCE appropriating Forty-five Thousand Dollars
($45,000.00) from the Maline Creek Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund to be used for the construction of
the Laclede Airport Park Trunk Sewer.
WHEREAS, tracts of land lying within an area bounded on
the North by Interstate Highway 70, and on the East by Springdale
Drive, and on the South by Natural Bridge Road and on the West by
Brown Road, is presently unsewered, and
WHEREAS, the owners of portions of such tract of land
are desirous of constructing Industrial Subdivisions, and
WHEREAS, this District is willing to cause to be
constructed the trunk sanitary sewer to provide service to such
tracts of land and to recoup its expenditures as such tracts are
improved,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-five Thousand Dollars
($45,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Maline Creek
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund to be
used for all costs for the construction of the Laclede Airport
Park Trunk Sewer.
Section Two. Recoupment of such funds shall be
collected from the owners of such tracts of land as such tracts of
land are improved on a cost per acre basis, such cost shall be
determined by the Executive Director and approved by the Board of
Trustees.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 30, 1971.
