AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Penrod &
Gastorf, Inc. for the construction of the Grampian Road Storm
Sewer (S-639) in Subdistrict No. 83 (Grampian Road) in St. Louis
County with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Penrod & Gastorf, Inc., as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of the Grampian Road
Storm Sewer (S-639) in Subdistrict No. 83 (Grampian Road) in St.
Louis County within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th day of June, 1971
and formally executed on the 14th day of July, 1971, by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for storm sewer construction and the
sewer to be constructed being necessary for the protection of the
public health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the
Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately
upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 15, 1971.
