AN ORDINANCE appropriating Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars
($29,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for the
construction of the Ballas and Conway Sanitary Sewer.
WHEREAS, tracts of land lying within an area bounded on
the North by Conway Road, and on the East by a line 1400 feet East
of Ballas Road, and on the South by U. 5. Highway 40 and on the
West by Interstate Highway 244, are presently unsewered, and
WHEREAS, the owner of a portion of such tracts of land
are desirous of constructing a Medical Office Center, and
WHEREAS, this District is willing to cause to be
constructed the trunk sanitary sewer to provide service to such
tracts of land and to recoup its expenditures as such tracts are
improved,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars
($29,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur
Frontenac to be used for all costs for the construction of the
Ballas and Conway Sanitary Sewer.
Section Two. Recoupment of such funds shall be
collected from the owners of such tracts of land as such tracts of
land are improved on a cost per acre basis, such cost shall be
determined by the Executive Director and approved by the Board of
Trustees.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 15, 1971.
