AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer
facilities of the District and Subdistrict No. 150 (Sugar Creek).
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
owner of all the land in said area, praying for annexation to the
District and Subdistrict No. 150 (Sugar Creek); and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and the existing sewers of the District are
adequate to handle all of its sanitary sewage, that the interests
of sanitation and public health of the District will be promoted
by including the area in its territory; and that the sewage flow
from the area proposed to be annexed has no available outlet
through public sanitary sewers other than those of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the original
boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the
North line of property conveyed to Litzsinger Investment
Company by deed recorded in Book 4246, Page 487 of the St.
Louis County records, which point of intersection is 500 feet
West of the original West line of Des Peres Road (40 feet
wide), measured at right angles thereto, and which point of
intersection lies approximately 3070 feet South of the
centerline of Manchester Road, measured along such original
District boundary; thence North 89 degrees 44 minutes West
along said northern line of Litzsinger a distance of 820.32
feet to a point; thence South 88 degrees 45-1/2 minutes West
670.36 feet to a point; thence North 89 degrees 49-1/2
minutes West a distance of 670.51 feet to a point; thence
South 0 degrees 44-1/2 minutes West a distance of 1332.56
feet to a point; thence South 89 degrees 54 minutes East
52.93 feet to a point; thence South 0 degrees 49 minutes West
651.16 feet to a point; thence South 89 degrees 45 minutes
East 264.17 feet to a point; thence North 23 degrees 43
minutes East 710.10 feet to a point; thence North 88 degrees
17-1/2 minutes East approximately 1590 feet to its
intersection with the original District boundary; thence
northwardly along the original District boundary to the point
of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the owner of all the land in said area.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.

Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and Subdistrict No. 150
(Sugar Creek) are hereby extended so as to include the above
described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the
Secretary of State.
