AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Murphy Company
Mechanical Contractors and Engineers, for construction of the New
Gas Piping at the Bissell Point Sewage Treatment Plant, 10 East
Grand Avenue, in the City of St. Louis within The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Murphy Company Mechanical Contractors and
Engineers, as the lowest responsible bidder, for the construction
of the New Gas Piping at the Bissell Point Sewage Treatment Plant,
10 East Grand Avenue, in the City of St. Louis within The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 14th day of July, 1971, and formally executed on
the 28th day of July, 1971 by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District in
the following form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for construction of New Gas Piping and
the facilities to be constructed being necessary for the
protection of the public health, an emergency exists within the
meaning of the Plan, and accordingly, this Ordinance shall be and
become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 29, 1971.
