HomeMy Public PortalAbout02197 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2197 AN ORDINANCE transferring Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00) from the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund to the Improvement Fund, and appropriated out of the Improvement Fund to be used for the construction of the Cella Road Sanitary Sewer. WHEREAS, tracts of land lying within an area bounded on the North by Ladue Road, and on the East by Price Road, and on the South by Clayton Road and on the West by Cella Road, are presently unsewered, and WHEREAS, the owner of a portion of such tracts of land are desirous of constructing a residential building, and WHEREAS, this District is willing to cause to he constructed the trunk sanitary sewer to provide service to such tracts of land, and to recoup expenditures as such tracts are improved, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00) is hereby transferred from the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund to the Improvement Fund and appropriated out of the Improvement Fund to be used for all costs for the construction of the Cella Road Sanitary Sewer. Section Two. Recoupment of such funds shall be collected from the owners of such tracts of land as such tracts of land are improved at a cost of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) per lot. Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 29, 1971.
