AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with G. L. Tarlton
Contracting Company, for the construction of a stormwater channel
with inlets in Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek - Section IX),
with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to G. L. Tarlton Contracting Company, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of a stormwater
channel with inlets in Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek -
Section IX) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, in an
area located between St. Anthony Lane and New Florissant Road
north of St. Mark Drive, in the City of Florissant, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th day of July, 1971
and formally executed on the 10th day of August, 1971, by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of the District, in the following form:

Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for the construction of a stormwater
channel and the stormwater channel to be constructed being
necessary for the protection of the public health, an emergency
exists within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be
and become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 11, 1971.
