AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the Coldwater Creek
Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
include an area of St. Louis County which could be efficiently
served by the sewer facilities of the District and the Coldwater
Creek Trunk Subdistrict.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from all
of the owners of the land in said area, who own all of the area
therein, praying for annexation to the District and the Coldwater
Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict, and the
existing sewers of the District and Subdistricts are adequate to
handle all of its sanitary sewage, that the interest of sanitation
and public health of the District will be promoted by including
the area in its territory; and that the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning in the centerline of Old Halls Ferry Road its
intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the West
line of land conveyed to John H. and Elma D. Street by deed
recorded in Book 5046, Page 72 of the St. Louis County
Recorder's office, which point of intersection is in the
present boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, as established by Ordinance No. 548 adopted May 4,
1961; thence northeastwardly along the southwestern
prolongation and along the West line of said Street property
to its northwestern corner; thence eastwardly along the North
line of said Street property to its northeastern corner;
thence southwardly along the East line of said Street
property and its southward prolongation to its intersection
with the centerline of Highway 140; thence westwardly along
said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of
Old Halls Ferry Road; thence northwestwardly along the
centerline of Old Halls Ferry Road, which is also a part of
the existing District boundary to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by all of the owners of all of the land in said area.
Section Three. That the interest of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.
Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The

Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the Coldwater Creek
Trunk Subdistrict are hereby extended so as to include the above-
described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the
Secretary of State. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 25, 1971.
