AN ORDINANCE transferring Two Thousand Five Hundred
Seventy-five Dollars ($2,575.00) from the unappropriated surplus
of the Watkins Creek Operation, Maintenance and Improvement Fund
to the Improvement Fund, and appropriated out of the Improvement
Fund to be used for the construction of the Northdale No. 2
Sanitary Sewer Extension.
WHEREAS, tracts of land lying within an area east of
Bellefontaine Road and south of Farmview Drive are presently
unsewered, and
WHEREAS, the owner of a portion of such tracts of land
are desirous of constructing a residential building, and
WHEREAS, this District is willing to cause to be
constructed the sanitary sewer to provide service to such tracts
of land, and to recoup expenditures as such tracts are improved or
connect,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred and
Seventy-five Dollars ($2,575.00) is hereby transferred from the
unappropriated surplus of the Watkins Creek Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund to the Improvement Fund and
appropriated out of the Improvement Fund to be used for all costs
for the construction of the Northdale No. 2 Sanitary Sewer
Extension.
Section Two. Recoupment of such funds shall be
collected from the owners of such tracts of land as such tracts of
land are improved or connected, at a cost of Seven Hundred Dollars
($700.00) per lot.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 13, 1971.
