AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Norbert Markway
Construction Company, Inc. for the Reconstruction of a Wood Deck
Bridge at Lambert Field, St. Thomas Bridge (S-676), in St. Louis
County, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Norbert Markway Construction Company, Inc.
as the lowest responsible bidder, for the Reconstruction of a Wood
Deck Bridge at Lambert Field, St. Thomas Bridge (S-676), in St.
Louis County within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of January,
1972, and formally executed on the 7th day of February, 1972, by
said contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for the Reconstruction of a bridge, and
the bridge to be constructed being necessary for the protection of
the public health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of
the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective
immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 9, 1972.
