AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and of the Coldwater Creek
Trunk Subdistrict to include an area of St. Louis County which
could be efficiently served by the sewer facilities of the
District and of the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
owner of all the land in said area, praying for annexation to both
the District and the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and such Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict and the
existing sewers of the District and Subdistrict are adequate to
handle all of its sanitary sewage, that the interests of
sanitation and public health of the District will be promoted by
including the area in its territory; and that the sewage flow from
the area proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through
public sanitary sewers other than those of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at the northernmost corner of Lot 179, Flamingo
Park Plat 17, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 126, Pages 52
and 53 of the St. Louis County Records, which is also a point on
the southern line of Bedford Manor No. 3, a subdivision of St.
Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 94, Page 24 of the St. Louis County Records, which point
is further described as being on the existing District boundary as
extended by Ordinance No. 265, adopted March 5, 1959; thence
northwestwardly, along such southern line of Bedford Manor No. 3
Subdivision, which is also a part of the existing District
boundary, and along the northwestwardly extension of the southern
boundary of such Subdivision a distance of 1892.35 feet, to a
point; thence southwestwardly a distance of approximately 1,010
feet, to its intersection with the northern line of Flamingo Oaks
Plat 18, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according to
the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 139, Pages 88 through 91 of
the St. Louis County Records, which northern line is also a part
of the existing District boundary; thence southeastwardly along
such northern line of Flamingo Oaks Plat 18 Subdivision and along
the northern line of Flamingo Park No. 16, a subdivision of St.
Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 124, Page 20 of the St. Louis County Records, which
northern lines are a part of the existing District Boundary, to
its intersection with the western line of aforesaid Flamingo Park
Plat 17 Subdivision; thence northeastwardly, along such western
line of aforesaid Flamingo Park Plat 17 Subdivision, which is also
a part of the existing District boundary, to the point of
beginning.

Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the owner of all the land in said area.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.
Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the Coldwater Creek
Trunk Subdistrict are hereby extended so as to include the above-
described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the
Secretary of State.
