AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and of the Coldwater Creek
Trunk Subdistrict to include an area of St. Louis County which
could be efficiently served by the sewer facilities of the
District and of the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from all
of the owners of the land in said area, praying for annexation to
both the District and the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and such Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict and the
existing sewers of the District and Subdistrict are adequate to
handle all of its sanitary sewage, that the interests of
sanitation and public health of the District will be promoted by
including the area in its territory; and that the sewage flow from
the area proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through
public sanitary sewers other than those of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of Florence Avenue (50
feet wide), which is the westernmost corner of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District as extended by Ordinance No. 1734,
adopted April 11, 1968; thence northwestwardly along the said
centerline of Florence Avenue to its intersection with the
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence northwardly along said
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard to its intersection with the
District boundary, as extended by Ordinance No. 1195, adopted
August 6, 1964, which point is approximately 650 feet south of Old
St. Charles Rock Road, measured along such centerline; thence
northwardly a distance of approximately 50 feet along such
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, which is also a part of the
existing District boundary, to its intersection with the Original
District Boundary, a distance of approximately 720 feet, to its
point of intersection with the District boundary as extended by
aforesaid Ordinance No. 1734; thence southwestwardly along such
District boundary as extended by said Ordinance No. 1734, a
distance of approximately 200 feet to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for
annexation were signed by all of the owners of the land in said
area.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.
Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the Coldwater Creek

Trunk Subdistrict are hereby extended so as to include the above-
described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the
Secretary of State.
