IONA COMMUNITY CENTER
September 13, 2017 6:30 P.M.
PRESENT: Chairman Melanie Keyes, Member Michael Thompson, Member John Lott,
Member Dee Johnson, Member Jake Lindsey, and City Clerk Shara Roberts.
ABSENT: Member Shane Harrigfeld.
VISITORS: None.
Chairman Keyes welcomed everyone led with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Approval of Minutes: Member Lindsey moved to approve the minutes for May 10th, 2017 as
written. Member Johnson seconded the motion. All in favor, motion carried. Member Johnson
moved to approve the minutes for June 14th, July 12th, and August 16th as written. Member
Thompson seconded the motion. All in favor, motion carried.
Items of Business:
Introduction of iPad Technology: Clerk Roberts introduced the new iPad technology to
members, and explained this is what would be used to display meeting documents moving
forward. Additionally, she reported the city code books would eventually be made accessible
electronically.
