AN ORDINANCE transferring Two Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00) from the Improvement Fund of the
District as a loan to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek), and
providing for the repayment of said sum; and further appropriating
Three Hundred Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($345,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek) to be used for the
construction of improvements of the channel of Fountain Creek.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00) is hereby transferred from the
Improvement Fund of the District as a loan to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No.
88 (Fountain Creek); said sum to be repaid from the revenue of
that Subdistrict from taxes levied and assessed in the years 1972
through 1975, and to be collected within the 1972-73 through 1975-
76 Fiscal Years.
Section Two. The officers of the District are
directed to repay to the Improvement Fund of the District the Two
Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00) as soon as
receipts are collected from the tax levy made for the years 1972
through 1975 in Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek).
Section Three. The sum of Three Hundred Forty-five
Thousand Dollars ($345,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek) to be used for the
construction of improvements of the channel of Fountain Creek.
Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 24, 1972.
