AN ORDINANCE transferring Three Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($350,000.00) from the unappropriated surplus of the
General Fund of the Mississippi River Subdistrict as a loan to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Subdistrict No. 366 (University City Branch of River des Peres)
and providing for the repayment of said sum; and further
appropriating Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Subdistrict No. 366 (University City Branch of River des Peres)
to be used for the construction of improvements of the channel of
the Mendell Creek section of the University City Branch of River
des Peres.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($350,000.00) is hereby transferred from the
unappropriated surplus of the General Fund of the Mississippi
River Subdistrict as a loan to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 366 (University
City Branch of River des Peres); said sum to be repaid from the
revenue of that Subdistrict from taxes levied and assessed in the
years 1972 through 1974, and to be collected within the 1972-73
through 1974-75 Fiscal Years.
Section Two. The officers of the District are
directed to repay to the General Fund of the Mississippi River
Subdistrict Fund of the District the Three Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($350,000.00) as soon as receipts are collected from the
tax levy made for the years 1972 through 1974 in Subdistrict No.
366 (University City Branch of River des Peres).
Section Three. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($550,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No.
366 (University City Branch of River des Peres) to be used for the
construction of improvements of the channel of the Mendell Creek
section of the University City Branch of River des Peres.
Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 15, 1972.
