Luth & Sons, Inc. for the construction of storm sewers in St. Louis Zoo Storm Sewer Relocation at Duck Ponds (S-683) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of storm sewers in St. Louis Zoo Storm Relocation at Duck Ponds (S-683), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 25th day of August, 1972, and formally executed on the 14th day of September, 1972, by said contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form: 2 is hereby confirmed. Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation of a contract for the construction of a stormwater channel, with inlets, and the construction being necessary for the protection of the public health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 15, 1972.
