AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with J. S. Alberici
Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of Modifications
and Improvements at the Bissell Point Treatment Plant Site, East
Grand and Hall Street and the Sanitary Sewer Manhole S-1 at
Salisbury and Hall Street, in St. Louis, Missouri, with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to J. S. Alberici Construction Company, Inc. as
the lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of
modifications and improvements at the Bissell Point Treatment
Plant Site, East Grand and Hall Street and the Sanitary Sewer
Manhole S-1 at Salisbury and Hall Street, in St. Louis, Missouri,
within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 22nd day of November, 1972, and
formally executed on the 26th day of December, 1972, by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for the construction of Modifications
and Improvements to the Treatment Plant and Manhole and the
construction being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 27, 1972.
