AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer or
drainage facilities of the District, the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
majority of the owners of the land in said area who own more than
one-half of the land area therein praying for annexation to The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, the Mississippi River Subdistrict and the Gravois
Creek Trunk Subdistrict and can drain all of its sanitary sewage
into existing sewers within the District and such Subdistricts,
that the interests of sanitation and public health of the District
will be promoted by including the area in its territory; and that
the sewage flow from the area proposed to be annexed has no
available outlet through public sanitary sewers other than those
of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District, the Mississippi River Subdistrict and
the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
centerline of East Concord Road and the northward prolongation of
the east line of Larkin Acres, a subdivision of St. Louis County,
Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 71,
Page 13 of the St. Louis County Records, which point of
intersection is also a point on the original boundary of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and which point of
intersection is approximately 330 feet more or less west of the
west line of Von Talge Road, 50 feet wide; thence southwardly,
along said northward prolongation, and along said east line to the
southeast corner of Lot 19 of said Larkin Acres subdivision;
thence westwardly, along the south line of said Lot 19 and its
westward extension across Larkin Lane, 50 feet wide, to the
southeast corner of Lot 6 of said Larkin Acres subdivision, and
thence continuing along the south line of said Lot 6 to the
southwest corner of said Lot 6; thence northwardly along the west
line of Lots 6, 5, 4 and part of Lot 3 of said subdivision to its
intersection with the southeast corner of Lot 13 of Concord
Woodland, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according
to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 51, Page 42 of the St.
Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of
said Lot 13 and its westwardly extension across Leonard Drive, 40
feet wide, to the southeast corner of Lot 2 of said Concord
Woodland subdivision; and thence continuing along the south line
of said Lot 2 to the southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence
northwardly along the west line of Lots 2 and 1 of said

subdivision and the northward prolongation of the west line of
said Lot 1, to its intersection with the centerline of East
Concord Road, which point of intersection is a point on the
existing District boundary as extended by Ordinance No. 1451,
adopted January 13, 1966; thence eastwardly along the centerline
of East Concord Road, which is also a part of the existing
District boundary, to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for
annexation were signed by the majority of the owners of the land
in said area who own more than one-half of the land area of the
area to be served.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.
Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict are hereby
extended so as to include the above-described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the
Secretary of State.

The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 26, 1973.
