AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer or
drainage facilities of the District and the Mississippi River
Subdistrict.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
owners of the land in said area who own all of the land area
therein praying for annexation to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District and the Mississippi River Subdistrict; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and the Mississippi River Subdistrict and can drain
all of its sanitary sewage into existing sewers within the
District and such Subdistrict, that the interests of sanitation
and public health of the District will be promoted by including
the area in its territory; and that the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District and the Mississippi River Subdistrict
can efficiently serve the area described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
centerline of Warson-Link Road and the eastward prolongation of
the north line of Lot 21 of Lackland Park Subdivision, a
subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 17, Page 8 of the St. Louis County
Records, which point of intersection is also a point on the
original boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District;
thence westwardly, along said eastward prolongation and along the
north line of said Lot 21 to the northwest corner of said Lot 21;
thence northwardly across Oak Avenue to the southwest corner of
Lot 40 of Lackland Park Subdivision; thence northwardly along the
west lines of Lots 40 through 43 of said Lackland Park Subdivision
to the northwest corner of said Lot 43; thence eastwardly along
the north line of said Lot 43 and the eastward prolongation of
said north line to its intersection with the centerline of Warson-
Link Road, which point of intersection is a point on the existing
District boundary as extended by Ordinance No. 155, adopted
September 9, 1957; thence southwardly along the centerline of
Warson-Link Road, which is also a part of the existing District
boundary, to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by all of the owners of the land in said area who own
all of the land area to be served.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.

Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the Mississippi River
Subdistrict are hereby extended so as to include the above-
described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the
Secretary of State.
