HomeMy Public PortalAbout02425 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2425 AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Executive Director to Quit Claim certain real estate in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, to the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, and to execute a Quit Claim Deed. WHEREAS, the hereinafter described property is now being used as a street, and the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, has requested that The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District transfer ownership of said property to the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, by Quit Claim Deed; and The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has agreed to do so, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The District does hereby remise, release and forever quit claim any right, title or interest in or to the following described real estate, situated in the City of Kirkwood and State of Missouri, described as follows: Part of Lot 69 of East Kirkwood in the County of St. Louis, Missouri and being further described as follows: Bounded East by the West line of Clark Avenue, 60 feet wide. Bounded Southeast by the Northwest line of the right-of-way of the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway Company, 100 feet wide. Bounded Southwest by the Northeast line of Leffingwell Avenue, 60 feet wide, and bounded Northwest by a line 60 feet Northwest of, and parallel at right angles to, the Northwest line of the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway Company. Being the same parcel of land excluded and excepted from Parcel #2 in a Warranty Deed dated February 20, 1969 and recorded February 27, 1969 in Book 6380, Page 724 of the St. Louis County Records. Section Two. The Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to execute in behalf of the District a Deed giving effect to Section One hereof. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 2, 1973.
