AN ORDINANCE, transferring One Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($125,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to the Improvement Fund as a loan, and
appropriating said sum from the Improvement Fund to be used to
construct storm sewers in the project known as Midland, Melrose,
Mt. Vernon, Wellington Storm Sewer (S-749), and providing for
repayment of said loan.
WHEREAS, St. Louis County has approved a grant in aid
of financing such improvement totalling two-thirds (2/3) of
construction and engineering costs, conditioned on the advance
payment of costs in cash by the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($125,000,00) is hereby transferred from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to the Improvement Fund as a loan
to be used to construct storm sewers in the project known as
Midland, Melrose, Mt. Vernon, Wellington Storm Sewer (S-749).
Section Two. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($125,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Improvement Fund to be used to construct storm sewers in the
project known as Midland, Melrose, Mt. Vernon, Wellington Storm
Sewer (S-749).
Section Three. The anticipated payments from St. Louis
County, together with one-third (1/3) share to be taken from taxes
from the University City Branch of the River des Peres
Subdistrict, levied and assessed in 1973, and to be collected in
the Fiscal Year 1973-74, shall be paid into the Improvement Fund
named in Section Two and shall be transferred by the Director of
Finance from the Improvement Fund to the lending fund named in
Section One, as received.
Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
