AN ORDINANCE appropriating Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) from the Mississippi River Subdistrict General Fund
to be used by the Maintenance Department to hire forty summer
employees.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi River
Subdistrict General Fund to be used by the Maintenance Department
to hire forty summer employees, to be used solely to clean up
debris resulting from flooding of the Mississippi River occurring
between March 6, 1973 and April 22, 1973, on River des Peres and
other creeks.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 31, 1973.
