AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thirty-nine
Thousand One Hundred Forty-six Dollars ($439,146.00) from the
unappropriated surplus of the General Fund of the Mississippi
River Subdistrict to reimburse the Maintenance Department for
personal services and electricity used during the recent flood of
the Mississippi and Missouri rivers and their tributaries in the
Metropolitan St. Louis area.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thirty-one
Thousand Six Hundred Forty-six Dollars ($431,646.00) is hereby
appropriated from Account 1-1062-100 to reimburse the Maintenance
Department for the cost of personal services and electricity used
during the recent flood of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers and
their tributaries in the Metropolitan St. Louis area.
Section Two. The sum of Seven Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($7,500.00) is hereby appropriated from Account 1-1062-300
to cover the cost of electricity used during the recent flood of
the Mississippi and Missouri rivers and their tributaries in the
Metropolitan St. Louis area.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 29, 1973.
