AN ORDINANCE renewing a contract with The Continental
Insurance Company (Associated Underwriters, Inc., Agent) for the
District's survey boat insurance coverage from July 19, 1973 to
July 19, 1974, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Continental Insurance Company, the
current insurance carrier of the marine insurance policy on the
District's survey boat at an annual premium of $625.00, and which
has submitted a renewal proposal by its agent, Associated
Underwriters, Inc. at the same premium for the period of July 19,
1973 to July 19, 1974, is hereby awarded a renewal contract for
such insurance coverage on the survey boat.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a
renewal contract for the District's survey boat insurance and thus
being necessary for the protection of the public health,
constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 11, 1973.
