HomeMy Public PortalAbout02459 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2459 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Eight Thousand Dollars ($908,000.00) from the Operating Fund Subdistrict- Mississippi River as an advancement for the entire costs of constructing a sanitary interceptor sewer in the project known as Martigney Sanitary Interceptor, and providing for repayment of such advancement. WHEREAS, the Environmental Protection Agency, United States of America, has approved a grant in aid of financing such improvement conditioned on the advance payment of costs in cash by the District, WHEREAS, the Missouri Clean Water Commission has approved a grant in aid of financing such improvement conditioned on the advance payment of costs in cash by the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Eight Thousand Dollars ($908,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operating Fund Subdistrict-Mississippi River to be used for advancements for the entire costs of constructing a sanitary interceptor sewer in the project known as Martigney Sanitary Interceptor, pending payment into the Operating Fund Subdistrict-Mississippi River of the costs hereby advanced from the Federal and State Grants in aid, and cash payments in aid from any other source. Section Two. The anticipated payments, together with any interest earned shall be paid into the Operating Fund Subdistrict-Mississippi River named in Section One, as received. Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 26, 1973.
