AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Gampco,
Incorporated for the construction of a sanitary interceptor sewer
in the project known as Martigney Sanitary Interceptor in St.
Louis County with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Gampco, Incorporated as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary sewers in the
project known as Martigney Sanitary Interceptor in St. Louis
County within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 1st day of June, 1973, and
formally executed on the 25th day of July, 1973, by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following
form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for the construction of a sanitary
interceptor sewer, and the sewer to be constructed being necessary
for the protection of the public health, constitutes an emergency
within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and
become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 26, 1973.
