An employee who is regularly assigned to work on a shift basis shall be paid as follows: (1) employees on the second shift shall receive premium pay at the rate equivalent to one full step above the normal rate for time worked on the second shift; (2) employees on the third shift shall receive premium pay at the rate equivalent to two full steps above the normal rate for time worked on the third shift. Section Four. Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1973.
