AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No.
409, adopted June 16, 1960, and revising the boundaries of
Subdistrict No. Seven of the River des Peres Watershed (Wellston
Area), of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 409, adopted June 16, 1960
is hereby amended by adding to the boundaries of Subdistrict No.
Seven of the River des Peres Watershed (Wellston Area), as set
forth in Section Two thereof, an area described as follows: Lot 38 in Block 2 of OAK GROVE HEIGHTS, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 5, St. Louis County, Missouri, Recorder's office, and being more particularly described as fronting 30' on the northeast line of Wellsmar Avenue, 50' wide, by a depth northeastwardly between parallel lines of 125.00' to the southwest line of a 15' wide alley; being bounded southeastwardly by the northwest line of Lot 37 in said Block 2 and northwestwardly by the southeast line of a 10' wide alley.
for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such property
would be benefitted by the proposed sewer facilities to be
constructed in such subdistrict.
Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 409
shall read as follows:
"Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. Seven
of the River des Peres Watershed (Wellston Area) shall be as
follows:

WELLSTON SUBDISTRICT
Beginning at the point of intersection of the northeastern city
limits of the City of University City and the northwestern city
limits of the City of St. Louis, said point being just north of
the intersection of Skinker Boulevard and Olive Street Road;
thence in a northeasterly direction along said city limits of the
City of St. Louis to the point of its intersection with the south
line of Etzel Avenue, sixty feet (60') wide; thence
northwestwardly along said south line of Etzel Avenue to its
intersection with a line parallel to and fifty feet (50')
northwest of the northwest line of Lot 3 of Block A of Gambleton's
Re-Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 2 on Page 55 of the St.
Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along said parallel
line to its intersection with the northeast line of Lot 4 of said
Block A; thence in a southeasterly direction along the northeast
line of Lots 4 and 3 of said Block A to the southeast corner of
Lot 8 of said Block A; thence in a northeasterly direction along
the easternmost line of said Lot 8 to the northeast corner of said
Lot 8; thence northeastwardly in a straight line to the southwest
corner of property now or formerly of Florence C. and Martin C.
Buchholz as recorded in Deed Book 1752 on Page 391 of the St.
Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the westernmost
line of said Buchholz property and said line projected to its
intersection with the south line of Lot 12 of Block B of said
subdivision; thence southeastwardly along the south line of Lot 12
and 13 of said Block 8 to the southeast corner of property now or

formerly of Florice E. Eichler and Dorris E. Zimmerman as recorded
in Deed Book 3146 on Page 636 of the St. Louis County Records;
thence northeastwardly along the easternmost line of said Eichler
and Zimmerman property to the northeast corner of said Eichler and
Zimmerman property; thence in a northwesterly direction along the
northeastern boundary of said Block B to the point of its
intersection with the southwestward prolongation of the lot line
between Lots 18 and 19 of Block 11 of Watson's Fruit Hill
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 103 of the City of
St. Louis Records; thence in a northeasterly direction along said
prolongation across Plymouth Avenue sixty feet (60') wide, and
along the lot line between Lots 18 and 19 and the lot line between
Lots 3 and 2 of said Block 11 to a point at the most northeasterly
corner of said Lot 3; thence in a northeasterly direction along a
diagonal line across Julian Avenue sixty feet (60') wide, to a
point on the southwestern line of Block 9 of said subdivision
which is eighteen and seventy-five one-hundredths feet (18.75')
southeastward of the lot line between Lots 19 and 20 of said
block; thence in a northeasterly direction along a line parallel
to and eighteen and seventy-five one-hundredths feet (18.75')
southeastward of the lot line between Lots 19 and 20 of said Block
9 to the point of its intersection with the northeast line of Lot
20 of said block; thence in a northwesterly direction along the
northeast line of Lot 20 of said Block 9 to a point at the most

northeasterly direction diagonally across Page Boulevard one
hundred feet (100') wide to a point at the most southwesterly
corner of Lot 16 of Block 1 of Page Avenue Heights as recorded in
Plat Book 3, Page 54 of the St. Louis County Records; thence in a
northeasterly direction along the lot line between Lots 16 and 17
of said Block 1 and along the northeastward prolongation of said
line across the alley, fifteen feet (15') wide, to a point at the
most southwesterly corner of Lot 10 of said Block; thence in a
northwesterly direction along the northeast line of said alley in
said Block 1 to a point at the most southeasterly corner of Lot 7
of said Block; thence in a northeasterly direction along the lot
line between Lots 7 and 8 of said Block 1 and said line projected
across Lenox Avenue sixty feet (60') wide and continuing along the
lot line between Lots 14 and 15 of Block 6 of said subdivision to
a point at the most northwesterly corner of Lot 14 of said Block;
thence in a southeasterly direction along the southwestern line of
the alley, fifteen feet (15') wide, in said Block 6 to a point at

the intersection of said alley line and the southwestward

Ella Avenue to its intersection with the prolongation of the

across Myrtle Avenue, fifty feet (50') wide to the westernmost
corner of Lot 1 of Block 1 of said "Oak Grove Heights"; thence
northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Lot 1 and its
northeastward prolongation to the point of its intersection with
the centerline of North Market Street, thirty feet (30') wide;
thence in a northwesterly direction along the centerline of North
Market Street, to its intersection with the southwestward
prolongation of the line between Lots 8 and 9 of Block 5 of Glen
Echo Heights Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 67 of

prolongation of said line across the northwest-southeast alley,
fifteen feet (15') wide, to the westwardly corner of Lot 8 of said
Block; thence in a northwestwardly direction along the northeast
line of said alley to the intersection of said northeast line and
the lot line between Lots 11 and 12 of said Block 6; thence in a
northeasterly direction along the lot line between Lots 11 and 12

across Leschen Street fifty feet (50') wide, to a point at the

southwesterly direction along said prolongation and along said
west line of Wentzlick's Subdivision and along the southwestward
prolongation of said line across an alley, twenty feet (20') wide,
to the westernmost corner of Lot 15 of said subdivision; thence in
a southeasterly direction along the north line of Whitney Avenue
fifty feet (50') wide, and the southeastward prolongation of said
line to its intersection with the centerline of Sutter Avenue,
sixty feet (60') wide; thence in a generally southern direction
along the centerline of Sutter Avenue to the point of its
intersection with the northwestward prolongation of the lot line
between Lots 5 and 6 of Block A of North Cabanne Subdivision as
recorded in Plat Book 4, Pages 88 and 89 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence in a southeasterly direction along said
prolongation and said lot line and continuing along the southwest
line of Lots 11 through 35 of said Block A and along the
southeastward prolongation of said line across Williams Boulevard,
forty feet (40') wide, and along the southwest line of Lots 1
through 6 of Block D of said subdivision to a point at the
southeasterly corner of Lot 6 of said Block; thence in a
southwesterly direction along the lot line between Lots 46 and 47
of said Block D and continuing along the southwestward

prolongation of said lot line across Spencer Place and along the
lot line between Lots 6 and 7 of Block E of said subdivision to
the westernmost corner of said Lot 7 of said Block; thence in a
southeasterly direction along the northeast line of Lots 52, 51,
50 and 49 of said Block E to a point at the southernmost corner of
Lot 10 of said Block; thence in a southwesterly direction along
the lot line between Lots 48 and 49 of said Block E and along the
southwestward prolongation of said line across Suburban Avenue
thirty-seven feet (37') wide, and continuing along the lot line
between Lots 10 and 11 of Block F of said subdivision to a point
at the southeasterly corner of said Lot 10, said point also being
on the northeast boundary of the City of University City; thence
following the boundary of the City of University City in a
generally eastern and southern direction across Bartmer Avenue,
sixty feet (60') wide, and Maple Avenue, sixty feet (60') wide, to
the point of its intersection with the western city limits of the
City of St. Louis, which point is also the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 8, 1973.
