AN ORDINANCE awarding a contract to Allendale Mutual
Insurance Company (The Wightman Agency, Inc., agent) for the
District's boiler insurance coverage from December 1, 1973 to
December 1, 1976, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Allendale Mutual Insurance Company,
who submitted the lowest bid to the District for the District's
boiler insurance (minimum limit of $2,000,000.00 per accident) of
those bids received and opened on November 20, 1973, at 11:00 A.M.
at the District's office by the Secretary-Treasurer, at and for a
premium of One Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-two Dollars
($1,472.00) for such policy period, subject to a 16% dividend, is
hereby awarded the contract for such boiler insurance coverage.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a
contract for the District's boiler insurance and thus being
necessary for the protection of the public welfare, constitutes an
emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall
be and become effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 21, 1973.
