HomeMy Public PortalAbout02530 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2530 AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the construction of sanitary sewers in the project known as Parkwood Sanitary Interceptor, in St. Louis County, Missouri, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary sewers in the project known as Parkwood Sanitary Interceptor, in St. Louis County, within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 19th day of December, 1973, and formally executed on the 7th day of January, 1974, by said contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form: 2 is hereby confirmed. Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be constructed being necessary for the protection of the public health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 13, 1974.
