AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Forty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($247,000.00) from the unappropriated surplus of
the Mississippi River Subdistrict General Fund to the Maintenance
Department to be used for the purchase of twenty (20) pumps to be
used for the River des Peres Flood Protection project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Forty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($247,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
unappropriated surplus of the Mississippi River Subdistrict
General Fund to the Maintenance Department to be used for the
purchase of twenty (20) pumps to be used for the River des Peres
Flood Protection project.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 13, 1974.
