AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with J. S. Alberici
Construction Co., Inc., with an attached agreement between The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and The Maryland Casualty
Company, for the completion of all work remaining to be done under
Contract Letting No. C-387 dated April 30, 1973 by and between E.
J. Fischer, Inc., as contractor and The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, owner, in the project known as the Wellston
Sanitary Lateral Subdistrict, in St. Louis County, Missouri, with
an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to J. S. Alberici Construction Co., Inc., for
the completion of all work remaining to be done under Contract
Letting No. C-387 dated April 30, 1973 by and between E. J.
Fischer, Inc., as contractor and The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, owner, in the project known as the Wellston Sanitary
Lateral Subdistrict, in St. Louis County, Missouri, formally
executed on the 13th day of February, 1974 by said contractor and
by the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer, with an
attached agreement between The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District and The Maryland Casualty Company, in the following form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers
to be constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 13, 1974.
