HomeMy Public PortalAbout02552 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2552 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 369 (Sugar Creek Stormwater Subdistrict) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 369 (Sugar Creek Stormwater Subdistrict). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 369 (Sugar Creek Stormwater Subdistrict) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 SUGAR CREEK STORMWATER SUBDISTRICT Beginning at a point, said point being the southwest corner of Lot 4 in Block 2 of Montauk Hills Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 36, Page 57 of the St. Louis County Records, said point also being on the most northwestern boundary of the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District according to the Ordinance thereof recorded in Book 4799, Page 349 of the St. Louis County Records; thence generally northeastwardly along the most northwestern boundary of said Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict to the intersection of the southern line of Jewel Avenue with the eastern line of Harrison Avenue; thence westwardly along the westward prolongation of the southern line of Jewel Avenue to the western line of Harrison Avenue; thence southwardly along the western line of Harrison Avenue to the southeast corner of Lot 9 in Block 14 of Avondale (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 32 of the St. Louis County Records); thence westwardly along the southern line of said Lot 9 to the southwest corner thereof; thence northwardly along the western line of said Lot 9 to the southeast corner of property conveyed to Charles R. Bailey by deed recorded in Book 3590, Page 535 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the southern line of said Bailey tract to the southwest corner thereof; thence northwestwardly across Evans Avenue to the northeast corner of Lot 9 in Block 10 of said Avondale; thence westwardly along the northern line of said Lot 9 and the northern line of Lot 4 in Block 10 of said Avondale to the northwest corner of said Lot 4; 3 thence northwestwardly across Cleveland Avenue to the northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to Robert E. Riemeier by deed recorded in Book 3803, Page 536 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the northern line of said Riemeier tract to the northwest corner thereof; thence southwardly along the western line of said Riemeier tract to the southwest corner thereof; said point being also the southeast corner of Lot 3 in Block 6 of said Avondale; thence westwardly along the southern line of said Lot 3 and across Simmons Avenue and along the southern line of Lots 10 and 3 in Block 2 of said Avondale to the eastern line of Geyer Road; thence northwardly along the eastern line of Geyer Road to the eastward prolongation of the southern line of Bedford Oaks (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 38, Page 67 of the St. Louis County Records); thence westwardly along the eastward prolongation of and the southern line of said Bedford Oaks, to the southeast corner of Lot 3 in Block 4 of said Bedford Oaks; thence northwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 3 and its northward prolongation to the centerline of Bedford Oaks Drive; thence westwardly, northwestwardly and westwardly along the centerline of Bedford Oaks Drive to the southward prolongation of the eastern line of Lot 4 in Block 2 of Bedford Oaks Plat No. 2 (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 45, Page 4 of the St. Louis County Records); thence northwardly along the southward prolongation of and the eastern line of said Lot 4 to the northeastern corner thereof; thence westwardly along the northern line of said Lot 4 and the northern line of Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8 in 4 Block 2 of said Bedford Oaks Plat No. 2 and its prolongation to the western line of Applewood Drive; thence northwardly along the western line of Apple Drive and its northward prolongation to the centerline of Dougherty Ferry Road; thence westwardly along the centerline of Dougherty Ferry Road to the southward prolongation of the eastern line of a tract of land conveyed to Gordon L. and N. Corvey by deed recorded in Book 5132, Page 160 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the southward prolongation of and the eastern line of said Corvey tract to the northeast corner thereof; said point also being the southwest corner of Kirkshire Hills Plat 3 (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 60, Page 2 of the St. Louis County Records); thence southwestwardly along the southeastern line of said Kirkshire Hills Plat 3 to the southeastern corner of Lot 87 of said Kirkshire Hills Plat 3; thence northwestwardly along the southwestern line of said Lot 87 and across Rochdale Drive and along the southwestern line of Lot 76 of said Kirkshire Hills Plat 3 to the southwest corner of said Lot 76; thence northwardly along the western line of said Lot 76 to the northwest corner thereof; said point also being on the southern line of Kirkshire Hills Plat 4 (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 71, Page 27 of the St. Louis County Records); thence westwardly along the southern line of said Kirkshire Hills Plat 4 to the eastern line of Lot 38 of said Kirkshire Hills Plat 4; thence northwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 38 and its northward prolongation to the centerline of Whitecliff Drive; thence westwardly along the 5 centerline of Whitecliff Drive and its westward prolongation to the centerline of Lockett Lane; thence northwardly along the centerline of Lockett Lane to the westward prolongation of the southern line of Lot 24 of Lockett Park (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 92, Page 36 of the St. Louis County Records); thence eastwardly along the westward prolongation of and the southern line of said Lot 24 to the southeast corner thereof; thence northwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 24 and its northward prolongation to the centerline of Pendant Court; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Pendant Court to the southward prolongation of the eastern line of Lot 18 of said Lockett Park; thence northwardly along the southward prolongation of and the eastern line of said Lot 18 and the eastern line of Lot 15 of said Lockett Park and its northward prolongation to the centerline of Cameo Court; thence westwardly along the centerline of Manchester Road to a point 500 feet perpendicularly westward from the northward prolongation of the western line of Des Peres Road; said point also being a point on the boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence in a general southwardly direction along the present boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to the westward prolongation of the southern line of Lot 5 of the Subdivision of Bernard Kraus Estate as recorded in Plat Book 12, Page 12 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the southern line of said Lot 5 and across a private road known as Krauswood Drive and along the southern line of Lot 6 of said subdivision of Bernard Kraus Estate and the eastward prolongation of the southern line of said Lot 6 to the western line of a tract of land conveyed to Arthur M. and Eleanor Gilmour by deed recorded in Book 6461, Page 1243 of 9 the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said Gilmour tract and its southward prolongation to the centerline of Big Bend Road; thence eastwardly and northeastwardly along the centerline of Big Bend Road to the southward prolongation of the western line of Lot 1 in Section "A" of Osage Hills (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 23, Pages 48 and 49 of the St. Louis County Records); thence northwardly along the southward prolongation of and the western line of said Lot 1 to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the northern line of said Lot 1 and the northern line of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 in Section "A" of said Osage Hills to the west line of Barberry Lane; thence eastwardly across Barberry Lane to the northwest corner of Lot 44 in Section "A" of said Osage Hills; thence eastwardly along the northern line of said Lot 44 and the northern line of Lots 45, 46, 47 and 48 in Section "A" of said Osage Hills to the northeast corner of said Lot 48; thence southwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 48 and its southward prolongation to the centerline of Big Bend Road; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Big Bend Road to the southward prolongation of the centerline of Lynda Court; thence northwardly along the southward prolongation of and the centerline of Lynda Court to the southwestward prolongation of the northwestern line of Lot 16 of Cherokee Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 59, Page 1 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the southwestward prolongation of and the northwestern line of said Lot 16 to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the northern line of said Lot 16 10 to the northeast corner thereof; thence southwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 16 and the eastern line of Lots 17, 18, 19 and 20 of said Cherokee Subdivision and its southward prolongation to the centerline of Big Bend Road; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of Big Bend Road to the southwestward prolongation of the southeastern line of Lot 21 in Block 3 of Montauk Hills Addition (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 37, Page 26 of the St. Louis County Records); thence northeastwardly along the southwestward prolongation of and the southeastern line of said Lot 21 to the northeast corner thereof; said point also being the southwest corner of Lot 17 in Block 3 of said Montauk Hills Addition; The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 13, 1974.
