HomeMy Public PortalAbout02556 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2556 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-one Thousand Six Hundred Fifty and 71/100 Dollars ($31,650.71) from the Operating Fund Subdistrict - Mississippi River as an advancement to pay consulting engineers for design changes requested by the District in the project known as Martigney Sanitary Interceptor, and providing for repayment of such advancement. WHEREAS, the Environmental Protection Agency, United States of America, has approved a grant in aid of financing such improvement conditioned on the advance payment of costs in cash by the District, WHEREAS, the Missouri Clean Water Commission has approved a grant in aid of financing such improvement conditioned on the advance payment of costs in cash by the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Thirty-one Thousand Six Hundred Fifty and 71/100 Dollars ($31,650.71) is hereby appropriated from the Operating Fund Subdistrict - Mississippi River to be used as an advancement to pay consulting engineers for design changes requested by the District in the project known as Martigney Sanitary Interceptor, pending payment into the Operating Fund Subdistrict - Mississippi River of the costs hereby advanced from the Federal and State Grants in aid, and cash payments in aid from any other source. Section Two. The anticipated payments, together with any interest earned shall be paid into the Operating Fund Subdistrict - Mississippi River named in Section One, as received. Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 13, 1974.
